Four Winds Canvas is located on Historic Pier 36, home of the original Hanthorn Cannery, the oldest existing waterfront structure in Astoria. The Cannery was built in 1875 for the Columbia River Packers Association and was the home of Bumble Bee Tuna until the cannery closed in the 1980’s. Our shop is located in the front of the pier where you pull in.
From Portland via Hwy 30:
Take I-5 North towards Seattle
Take exit 36 towards Longview/Long Beach
Merge onto WA-432 E
Continue onto Tennant Way
Turn Left at Oregon Way
Continue onto WA-433/Lewis and Clark Bridge
Merge right onto US-30 W towards Clatskanie/Astoria
Drive about 30 miles
Turn right at 39th Street in Astoria
From Portland via Hwy 26:
Take US-26 W/Sunset Highway
Merge Right onto US-101 N towards Seaside/Astoria
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto W Marine Drive
Turn left at US-30/Commercial St.
Turn left at 39th Street
